“But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do His work and speak out for Him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.”
You might be at a loss in life. You might lack purpose or direction. Your health may not be at its best. You might only feel your leg when you reach in your pocket for your next meal. You may be really emotional. You may not feel loved or appreciated. You may even feel [insert your specific feeling here]. But I have great news for you today! Whatever you’re feeling right now is temporary and will pass. How do I know? Jesus told me, silly!
When you face the things listed above, it’s important you know you. The only way you will know who you are is by the word of God. He says you are chosen by Him. You have a high calling on your life of priestly work. You are a holy people. You are God’s instrument to do His work and speak out for Him. God will take you from nothing to something! From rejected to accepted! You have value. Don’t allow your circumstances to dictate who you are. Know that this is who you really are.
