Everlasting Joy

Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.
— ISAIAH 61:7 (NIV)

At some point in life everyone has done something they’re not proud of. There have been plenty of times I wished the “Ctrl + Z” button worked in my life; but, I realize everything God allowed me to do or go through was for a purpose. If the devil could kill me, he would’ve done it by now. That’s how I know even at my worst Jesus still wants me to have His best.

Don’t think God doesn’t want you to have His best. You are His child and He wants you to have everlasting joy. When you fall short, confess your sin to God and ask Him for forgiveness. Instead of the shame you think you deserve, He wants to give you a double portion of blessings. Instead of living your life disgraced, God wants you to enjoy your inheritance. Don’t dwell on what you feel you don’t deserve, when you can open your heart to receive what God wants to give you.

Yes, I got it!
