Present Help

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
— Psalm 46:1 (KJV)

In the time of trouble, you don’t have to look far for help. Counseling and self-help books are good resources, but never forget the source – GOD. Scripture says God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. This means in your time of trouble you are never alone. God is with you. It also means you have a God you can find safety in and draw strength from to carry on. If your problems are too heavy for you to carry, don’t carry them! God is waiting right there to help you. Don’t allow your situation to overwhelm you and obstruct your spirit from communing with the Holy Spirit. Find refuge and strength in God and allow Him to be your present help.
