“I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
I love roller coasters. I’ve even adopted Cedar Point’s slogan, “We Ride Behind Bars,” as my own. I’ve drafted my children to become roller coaster enthusiasts as well. We make sure we ride the old classics, as well as the new rides. One thing I noticed is no matter how new or fancy the rides become, we negate the idea we’ve never seen this thing before and we trust we’re in good hands because of our experience in the past.
God wants you to trust in Him during the roller coasters in your life. During the ups and downs, remember the same God who delivered you before will deliver you again. Trust God to be the same refuge and fortress He’s been since you were born. He’s the one that saved you from certain death and dangers you didn’t even see or know were there. Today, tell God you trust Him with your life and believe in your heart He is your refuge and fortress.
