Thoughts of Grace

Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at His coming.
— 1 Peter 1:13 (NIV)

Don’t get caught up in negative thinking. You may not even notice you’re thinking in this manner due to some of your choices or your surroundings. If you’re not careful, people or things that are constantly around you can slowly influence the way you consider situations or circumstances. God wants you to be alert of your thoughts. He wants you to sober of mind and focus on the grace His son, Jesus Christ, will reveal when He comes again. When your mind is set on the return of Christ it will reflect in your actions and lifestyle. You will begin to think on those things pleasing to God and do the work of Christ. Today, I challenge you today to overtake negative thoughts with positive actions and focus on the grace of Christ extended toward you.
