“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”
A way to show you believe in Jesus is by committing to do His work. He told His disciples, “Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing.” Jesus provided us with numerous examples of His work through the teachings and miracles He performed throughout the scriptures. Through His works, He showed us how to love one another, care for one another, and how to meet the needs of others through ministry.
In faith and through our belief, Jesus also promises to multiply our efforts when we do His work. He declares we will do even greater things when we believe in Him because He’s going to be with His Father. Can you imagine what “greater things” even looks like? Jesus walked on water, gave sight to the blind, and raised the dead, and you mean to tell me you and I have the power to do greater things than that?! I can’t wait to see this! Better get to work…
