Pursue Jesus

‘Then, Lord,’ Simon Peter replied, ‘not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!’
— John 13:9 (NIV)

God wants to give you a life of abundance, a life in which you will not have a care in the world. You achieve this life by pursuing Jesus. When you pursue Christ, you study His word before the crisis in your life hits. You go to Him in prayer before you’re in need. You realize you want to be blessed beyond the Abrahamic blessings people often take for granted. You’re saying, “Jesus, don’t stop at washing my feet, but wash my hands, head, and everything in between!” When you pursue Him, you’re asking God to own the company instead of just a promotion, to break the bank instead of just getting approved for a loan, or to give you His peace and not just temporary peace. When you pursue Christ, you won’t have to ask for more. He will give you more.
