“I will always thank the LORD; I will never stop praising him. I will praise him for what he has done...”
When you talk about God to someone, do you find yourself reflecting on the stories of the bible? Do you talk about how He delivered the people of Israel from slavery? Do you tell people how Jesus made the impossible possible by feeding a multitude of people with only two fish and five loaves of bread? Of course these are very compelling stories to thank and praise God for, but don’t forget the same God that worked miracles back then is still working them in your life today.
God may not be parting the Red Sea right now, but He’s parting the highway traffic and keeping you safe on your drive home. Jesus may not be seen healing people with leprosy today, but He’s removed the cancerous cells from your body during surgery. The same God we offer praise to for the things He has done in the past, deserves praise for the things He IS doing today. Always thank the Lord and never stop praising Him. For He is good and His mercy is everlasting.
