Let’s be honest, doesn’t it seem like irresponsible people have more fun? I’m talking about those people who don’t mind if their cell phones or lights are off, but be partying at the club. Or the ones taking vacation after vacation, but ain’t gave a tithe, offering, or cent to the building fund, and be falling out on the alter when they finally do make it to church. (Ok. I repent. But you know I’m not making this up!)
I learned it’s not my job to be concerned with what I feel people are “getting away with” and to allow God to work on them as well as me for thinking the way I do. God sees everything they are doing as well as what I’m doing and my sin is no smaller than anyone else’s. Instead of judging, God wants me to get the plank out of my eye so I can become a better witness and example to others. With God, everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him I must give account to.
