“Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in Your law.”
You don’t always need to purchase a first class ticket to “Get-me-outta-here land.” You don’t need to eat, drink, or smoke until your issues forget about you. No matter the brand of your shoes, or how tight you lace them up, you can only outrun your problems for so long before you come full circle and run back into them.
If all you see are problems and fault everywhere you turn, ask God to open your eyes to the wonderful things He surrounds you with daily. Yep! They’re already there. You just can’t see them because your focus may be a little off. Your presidential candidate may have lost. You just discovered your spouse isn’t perfect. If your nosey co-worker interrupts you one more time while you’re trying to read this… See? It’s all about focus. What you're facing could indeed be bad, but you have Christ on your side and He wants you to cast your cares on Him. Make the decision to obey God today and ask Him to open your eyes to reveal His glory all around you.
