“The LORD will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.”
In the darkest moments of life, you can always count on the Lord to guide you. Whatever condition you’re in or situation you’re facing, God promises to satisfy your needs and to strengthen you. In today’s scripture, Isaiah speaks of God satisfying your needs in a sun-scorched land. When you think of a land being scorched from the sun you probably imagine crops withering and not producing food. You may picture the browning of leaves and plants, dried up bodies of water, and desperation among people.
During sun-scorched droughts in your life, God promises He will make you like a well-watered garden and a spring whose waters never fall. You won’t have to look for a source of strength or satisfaction because He will make the source alive in you. God will not only supply your need, but make you a resource to supply the needs of others during their droughts. Trust God to guide you in and out of the droughts of your life. He will always satisfy and strengthen you.
