“No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said. “We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
Life never goes on vacation. It just keeps moving right along whether you need a break or a chance to catch your breathe. When the things of life start to pile up, you can easily forget your way. You can lose direction, wonder what the purpose of your existence is, or even think God has forgotten you. But let me assure you in those dark times God has not forgotten about you. He loves you and gave you His Son Jesus to show you the way.
Do not allow your mind to doubt the plan God has for your life. You may have no idea where He’s going, but as long as you continue to follow Christ, He’ll show you the way. Scripture says not to depend on your own understanding, but to seek God in all you do and He will show you which path to take. Don’t doubt where God is taking you. Continue to seek Him and be guided by His Holy Spirit and the way will be made clear to you.
I may not know, but I know
“Merciful God, thank You for Your Son Jesus who is the way, the truth, and the life. I know when I follow Your Holy Spirit doubt will be removed and the path You have for me will become clear. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”
