Press Play

I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.
— Jeremiah 29:11 (MSG)

God created each one of us with a specific purpose in mind. Yet, too often we put this purpose on pause. We defer our dreams and goals because we don’t have enough money, don’t have enough education, or feel unworthy because of mistakes we’ve made in the past.

Whatever your current circumstances or past mistakes, God wants to remind you that He still knows what He’s doing. God has planned a great future for you. He will take care of your needs and will never abandon you—even when the road gets rough.

Things may not always look or happen the way you’ve planned, but instead of pressing pause, press play on your life. Have faith. Keep reaching for your dreams. Work toward your goals. Don’t allow small obstacles to stop a sovereign God.

 Press play and live life.

Heavenly Father, thank you for planning a future of hope for me. I will walk with you as you continue to love and care for me. Thank you for never leaving me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
