Help Still Wanted

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
— Philippians 1:6 NASB

I’m not perfect.

Jesus knew this and accepted it when He died on the cross for my sin. When I confess my sin to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me of my unrighteousness. "But wait! I was caught red-handed." Forgiven! "I slipped and did the same thing again!" Forgiven! "I wasn’t right!" Forgiven! So, why does Jesus continue to wipe my slate clean over and over and over again?  Because…

Jesus still wants me.

And He still wants you as well! When you were born, Jesus started a good work in you and said He would continue to perfect you until He comes back again. Jesus planted a gift in you for the whole world to see. Regardless of your past or present situation, He still wants your help in growing His Kingdom.

When family turns their backs on you or when people you trusted no longer accept you, forgive them and remember that no one is perfect. Jesus still wants your help and will never leave you nor forsake you.

When you stray from the path God has predestined for you, remember He loves you and will forgive you. He’s waiting with open arms for your return. He wants to cleanse you. He wants to bless you. He still wants you.

Perfect me

Thank You Jesus for beginning a good work in me and for continuing to perfect me until You return. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
— This is my prayer
