I Know That I Know

Then Job answered the LORD and said, ‘I know that You can do all things, And that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained…
— Job 42:1-2 (AMP)

The world can be a cold place at times. Life may not be going as you’ve planned. You may have fewer friends than you thought you’d have at this time. You may be saddened because you thought you’d be married with children by now. You may be experiencing any number of hurts or disappointments. We all do.

When things are not going as you planned, remember God has a purpose for your life and no thought or purpose of His can be restrained. Many people believe it is wrong to question God and think it is a sign of disrespect or lack of faith. I shared this same kind of thinking for some time, but scripture tells us we have not because we ask not. Therefore, I no longer think it is wrong to ask God questions, you just have to be ready for His answer. Ask God His plan for your life. Ask Him to send the friends He wants you to have. The career, the mate, the financial breakthrough. Know that God can do all things, including turn your life around.

I serve a God…

Heavenly Father, I know You can do all things. I know that no thought or purpose You have for my life can be restrained. Bless me indeed Father. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
