I was a college roommate with my fraternity brother, Eric, for three years. We got along very well for two guys with totally different personalities. I knew when he needed the apartment quiet to study for a business exam. I even knew if a customer ticked him off at work by the way he entered the door. It’s safe to say, “I knew Eric.” I knew his likes and dislikes. I knew his mom and dad. I knew what he was studying to become.
I knew Eric because I talked to Eric. In the Book of Jeremiah, God tells us He knew us before we were formed in the womb. God talked to us before we were even born! He told us who we were. He told us what we would like and dislike. God even told us what He wanted us to do and become once we left His presence to enter earth. So, why is it that so many of us look for purpose or wonder why we were born?
The answer to this question is that we forgot our God conversation. We forgot the things He told us before He shaped us into our earthly form. God didn’t forget us. We forgot Him. This is why we refer to accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior as “coming back to Christ.”
When we come back to God and study His Word, He reveals again to us what He told us before during our God conversation. It is then we can find our purpose, peace, and prosperity. God is waiting and wanting to talk to you. He knows you and He does remember you!
Come back
