“How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!”
On June 8th I participated in a two hundred plus men’s march against gun violence in our community that I helped coordinate with my pastor, our deacons, churches, fraternities, and organizations. A small group of us met with our pastor, who publicly made the call for this event, to go over what the day would look like. As the day went on, I was given the task to lead the two hundred plus men in call and response chants as we walked the streets, but I recognized there was a brother in our community that was better suited to carry out this task. I gave him the bullhorn, and this brother did an excellent job.

When God gives you a task, He won’t give it to you and you alone. If it is truly a mission from God, it’s going to be bigger than you. You’re going to need some help. Accept the help. Jesus will make sure whatever resource you need will be available at the appointed time. Accept the gift Christ has placed in someone else that will ultimately be a blessing to you. Wherever there is harmony is where the Lord will pronounce His blessing. Let’s continue to stand together and no longer be ripped apart by the enemy.
