Jesus was once asked what is the greatest commandment in the law? His response was, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” He went on further, adding, “And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Jesus knew the power of love. Love can be used to bring great joy to someone, as well as comfort and encouragement. When you show people the love of Christ, they receive a refreshing of their spirit. And because you may not always be aware of who is in need at the time, it’s just good practice to always show the love of Christ to everyone you meet. Not only will they be rewarded, but your life will be also.
