Everyone has a calling on their life. Some people believe you have to find your calling while others believe God calls you throughout different stages of your life. I believe God has called me to be a Deacon and a teacher of His word, but He’s also called me to be a husband, a father, a good son, among other things. Each calling is very different, utilizing different gifts He’s given, but each calling He has assigned has one source. Jesus Christ.

Whether you’re taught you have to find your calling or that God calls you, live out each day of service as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned you. If God called you to preach, teach, lead, dance, cook, build, sing, clean, whatever the situation, one thing is for sure. He called you to be great! And the only way you can be great is through Jesus. No assignment is bigger or more important than the next. Whatever your calling, it’s needed in the body of Christ.
