I want to encourage you today to let God smile on you. Try not to think about what tomorrow holds. Try not to remember the disappointments of yesterday. Instead, think about the goodness of the Lord and how faithful He has been to you. Start with the fact that He woke you up this morning. He didn’t wake you to be stressed, troubled or fearful. He woke you to experience His goodness in the land of the living.

Even when things around you are unstable, crazy or difficult, remember God is keeping you. Be confident knowing that trouble doesn’t last forever, and Jesus wants you to live a satisfying and rich life. True, He’s gone on ahead of you to prepare a place for you with Him, but He’s not ready for you to join Him just yet. There’s still some goodness Christ wants you to experience here. Don’t miss it by focusing on the temporary chaos or uncertainty that may be surrounding you. See the Lord’s goodness today and let tomorrow worry about tomorrow.
