I want you to know GOD created you like no one or nothing else on this earth. You may walk like your father or have your mother’s eyes, but He knitted you special in your mother’s womb. Regardless of the news you received yesterday. Regardless of what you were told years ago. Regardless of how they treat you tomorrow. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. And as our ancestors used to say, “GOD don’t make no junk!” The next time you’re feeling incomplete or the next time you’re feeling like a failure or the next time you’re feeling like you can’t get right, remember you are the work of GOD. He created your inmost being. So, when I tell you you’re fearfully and wonderfully made, lift your head up and kindly reply with a smirk saying, “I know that, Van.”
