I have a question to ask you today and it may seem like a simple one. My question for you is, are you happy with your life? Don’t rush to answer it. Think about it. Is your alarm clock public enemy number one when it wakes you up in the morning to face a new day? Do you dread going to work? Is the degree you’re earning more of a burden than a privilege? Do you open your garage door hoping your spouse had to work late because you don’t feel like it today? Do you really like the church you attend? The food you eat? The person you are? Ok… so maybe it wasn’t “a” question, but hopefully, it got you thinking.

There are so many variables that can influence your happiness, but the answer to one question can make all the other variables fall in place: Is GOD happy with your life? It’s easy to get caught up in what the world says will make you happy only to find out it’s not what it’s cracked up to be. What should be your focus is sharing in your Master’s happiness. What should be your goal is hearing GOD say, “Well done, good and faithful servant!” If GOD can say that about the decisions you’re making in life, I can almost guarantee you’ll be happy with your life.
