I read an article titled “The Worst NBA Players to Win a Championship.” The list consisted of players, who contributed minimally to their teams, yet still received a championship ring because they were on the winning team. It didn’t matter how many points they scored or how many minutes they played, at the end of the season, they were winners because they were on the right team.
Likewise, when you’re born of God, you’re placed on the right team. When Christ died for your sins, you received victory over death. When He defeated Satan, Jesus caused you to be triumphant over your enemies. And because you are a child of The Most High, and He has overcome the world, you too have overcome it, because greater is He that is in you than he that’s in the world. So, when and if the world tells you you’re not good enough, are of no worth, and don’t deserve what God has for you or has given you, tell the world you’re a champion because you’re on the right team!
