“Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.”
We were created in God’s image and have been adopted as His children. We are joint heirs with Christ and if Jesus has all power, that means we have access to the same power. No more pity parties. No more, I can’t do this or I can’t do that. No more, they won’t let me or they are keeping me down. If we have received Christ and believe in His name, then we have a right to become children of God and are no longer subjected to things not of God.
As a child of God, let me remind you, there are things you just don’t have to take from the world. You don’t have to live a life of defeat or depression. You don’t have to live with anger or anxiety. You don’t have to remain complacent with poverty or pain. As a child of God, you have a right to peace and prosperity. You have a right to love and longevity. You have a right to be happy and healthy. Don’t settle with what the world has to offer or says you deserve. Improve your life by exercising your right as a child of God.
