THEY'LL HAVE TO BELIEVE

Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day He visits us.
— 1 PETER 2:12 (NIV)

Scripture refers to believers as “peculiar” people. To be peculiar isn’t a bad thing. It just means you’re different than the rest. You’re unique. Whether you realize it or not, people are watching you along with the things you say and do because you stand out. As believers, we must remember that in all situations, we are representing Christ to the world. To believe in Christ seems foolish to many today, but because of the example we give them, they’ll have to believe in Him.

Every day, look for ways to make God proud by your good works. The world can experience the love of Christ through your actions. The first encounter a non-believer has with Jesus is the Jesus in you. The first time a sinner experiences God’s forgiveness is from you. Continue to live a good godly life among people so that when they see your goods deeds they will give God the glory and know Him for themselves.

Heavenly Father, You have blessed me greatly so I can bless others. As I live the good life You’ve given me, bless my work so that others will see it and glorify You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
