It’s not always easy to be “The One.” You know exactly what I’m talking about. The one who’s always making sure everyone leaves the house on time. The one who’s always making sure not to spend over budget. The one that can’t tell the co-worker off that had it coming for a year now and counting because you got Jesus. You know. “The One.”
While it’s not always easy, Jesus wants you to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. When you introduce peace into the atmosphere, you allow the Spirit of God to have His way. Those around you are able to receive the voice of God when there is less chaos and more of Christ. You are The One He has chosen to be an agent of peace on His behalf. Don’t look at being The One as a burden, but a gift from God moving through you to bless others and you.
