When Christ died for our sins, resurrected, and ascended into heaven to rejoin the Father, He didn’t leave us alone. Jesus sent a comforter in The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is responsible for a plethora of our human experiences while on earth, but one we should not forget is the freedom the Holy Spirit gives us.

You are not slave to the enemy. Sin can no longer keep you in bondage. In Christ Jesus, you are free! Today, don’t allow the devil to restrict your progress or remind you who you used to be. You’re not the same person you were last year, last month, or even two minutes ago. If you are in Christ Jesus, you are a new creation. Don’t hold on to the old stuff. Let it die and pass away. Pursue the new you by embracing your freedom in the Spirit of the Lord.
