“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
Throughout history, the actions of many have insured and illustrated our freedom. Whether by the death of brave soldiers fighting wars to protect our beliefs or by the signing of declarations or treaties establishing our freedom, to be free is an idea and mindset everyone hopes for and embraces. It’s something we still fight for and dream to achieve.
Jesus knows how invaluable the price of freedom is. So much so that He gave His life for you and I that we would become free through His sacrifice. You are no longer a slave to sin, but by the blood of Christ you have been set free. No document has to be signed or bills passed to insure this idea or mindset. You only need to know Jesus and accept what He did for you. Christ has set you free and you are free indeed!
