Good and Plenty

In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.
— Psalm 37:19 (NIV)

God always plans for His people to succeed. Even when the world around you seems to be going to hell in a hand basket, Jesus wants you to live in His abundance. I know some of you are Googling ways to change your citizenship or bracing yourself for a storm of broken promises if a certain someone becomes president, but you serve a God that is King of kings, and Lord of lords. No matter what disaster or adversary you face, God said you will not wither. In the worst times He promised you will enjoy plenty. Remember to always keep your faith in God and not in people. Pray not only for your family and friends, but pray for your community, our leaders, and for Christ’s will to be done.

Heavenly Father, thank You for not causing me to wither in times of disaster. I have faith that in the days of famine, I will enjoy plenty. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
