Remember Jesus

Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel...
— 2 Timothy 2:8 (NIV)

Now that Good Friday has passed, the palm branches have been passed out, you’ve watched the Easter play, and you’ve posted the kids’ photos in their Easter clothes on Facebook, what’s next?

As believers, it’s important we remember Christ beyond the traditional celebrations and church services. Don’t let this past weekend be the only time you reflect on the fact Jesus gave His life for you. First Sundays during communion is not the only time reserved to remember Jesus. I challenge you to exercise remembering Jesus daily. It will help you with the perspective you have on life, as well as how you prioritize and make decisions. Keep Christ in the forefront and thank Him for all that He’s done.

Heavenly Father, I remember Your life, death, burial, and resurrection. I will remember and celebrate Your life and all You have done, are doing, and will do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
