Strength and Power

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
— ISAIAH 40:29 (NIV)

Ever have the feeling you can’t count on anyone but yourself? From supporting yourself and making every life decision, to planning life goals and executing them. Feeling you have to do everything yourself can be mentally exhausting.  In times you feel weary or weak, remember you do have someone you can call on anytime. God.

To be weary or weak isn’t always a sign of feebleness – especially when you know who God is. God wants to show up in your life when you call out to Him in your time of need. He is able to show Himself strong when you’re weak. He can strengthen you to do extraordinary things when you’re weary. Acknowledging your broken state is not a show of weakness. It’s preparation to receive God’s strength and power.
