“Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder.”
You know that nagging problem that keeps coming up in your life, or that bad habit you just can’t seem to kick? The more you try to cover it up, the more it rears its ugly head, follows you around, and stresses you on a regular basis? Well, your situation may be so persistent because God doesn’t want you to go around it, but to go through it. Anytime God allows you to struggle, it’s for a reason. When we pray, He reveals the answer to us. Prayer is the way we communicate with God, but don’t do all the talking-He wants to talk too! When you go to Christ in prayer, be prepared to do what He tells you. Of course God could change the situations in your life, but He’d much rather do it through you. If times get hard, don’t quit. Pray harder and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit for direction and guidance. God didn’t design you to do it alone.
