“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.”
When I think about Jesus, I think about how He loves me unconditionally. I think about how He forgives me and never brings it up again. I think about how He unselfishly gave Himself for me and asked for nothing in return, but to love Him. I think about how when I do things He doesn’t like, He loves me, and tells me how to get back on the right track. He comforts me. He thinks about me. He wants what’s best for me. What an awesome relationship!
Jesus wants us to have this same mindset in our relationships with others. He gave us the perfect example to live by. This mindset isn’t predicated on the actions of others. It’s a decision you make on your own to carry out. I challenge you today to let the mind of Christ be in you and show everyone you encounter what it’s like to be in a relationship with Christ.
