Genesis chapter one reveals how God created the heavens and the earth. He created the light and separated it from the darkness and called the light day and called the darkness night. He created the space between water and earth creating sky. He created dry ground, vegetation, seasons, fish, birds, sea creatures, and animals. After the creation of each, scripture records that God saw that it was good. But after He created humans, scripture records that God saw that it was very good.

You’re not good enough. You’re not just good while doing a particular activity or when you look a certain way. God said you’re very good! He created you, blessed you, and marked you very good before you even took your first step or achieved your first goal. Don’t let the world tell you who you have to be, what you have to do, or how you have to look. God says you’re very good. I think His opinion ranks pretty high given He created the heavens, the earth, day, night, water, land, sky…
You’re all that!
