Say Nothing

Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
— ROMANS 8:34 (NIV)

Two of my favorite comedians had words for one another recently. Kevin Hart addressed Katt Williams for some negative comments he made toward Tiffany Haddish – a fellow comedian and actress whose career is seeing some success. Katt said in an interview Tiffany didn’t deserve all the work or accolades she’s receiving and that she wasn’t good at her craft. In a separate interview, Tiffany was asked to respond to Katt Williams’ remarks to which Kevin interceded and told Tiffany, “You don’t have to say nothing. I got this! Tell Katt to talk about me, because I can take it, but I’m not going to let you talk about my sister who’s done nothing to you.”

When you start to see success in your life, there are people that may try to condemn you. When this happens to you, say nothing. Allow Christ to intercede for you. He died so that you could have life and life more abundantly. Don’t defend why GOD has blessed you, but rather show them how GOD has blessed you through your meekness and humbled spirit. When people come for you, they have to go through Jesus to get to you. And believe me, He can take! Remember, people usually don’t talk about people unless they’re doing something. (Hint, hint!) So, say nothing, keeping following GOD’s plan, Live Life, and remember that no one can condemn you.

Heavenly Father, thank You for blessing me with life and life more abundantly. No one can condemn me. You are at the right hand of GOD interceding for me because you love me! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
